Belly Dancing Portsmouth with Nasira

Nasira’s excellent certified knowledge of anatomy and physiology give her expert understanding behind each individual muscle section, the requirements isolating body movements, what muscles are being used and how to perform them without causing any strain on the body. This provides a safe environment for exercise making the dance low impact. Also it is proven that belly dancing is exceptionally good for both pre and post natal fitness (always consult your doctor if necessary before attempting any form of exercise). So great for new mums to get back into shape.

Nasira very much encourages her dancers once they are comfortable to learn her tailor choreographed routines and then get out and perform in public at local events and shows. This provides everyone with the chance to get glamm’d up and have fun as a group. It also really helps your confidence and gives you a chance to show your skills.

The beauty of Middle Eastern dance is that the classes and its members become more like a family, and often you find people routing through the local charity shops and swapping and exchanging garments to create real friendships and community spirit.
